 that follows two young women as they navigate the complexities of 
 immigrant life in 1970s America. Luna and Jane&mdash\;both recent 
 immigrants from Korea and the Philippines&mdash\;strike up an unexpected 
 friendship over a Thanksgiving dinner they&rsquo\;ll never forget. Through
  laughter\, tears\, and plenty of wine\, they dream of new possibilities 
 while wrestling with the question: What does it mean to make a home in an

 themselves facing the challenges of assimilation\, loneliness\, and the
