“Family, Culture, & Boundaries: Finding Balance” with Teresa Nguyen will casually explore and understand familial relationships and boundaries. For many people with strained relationships with their family members, setting boundaries seems to be a bit harder to accomplish compared to others. This talk will casually explore and provide space for those that struggle coping with managing their strained relationships with their family members and remind them that they are not alone in this experience. 

Teresa Nguyen is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Kansas, currently practicing in downtown Overland Park, KS. She completed her Masters in Counseling Psychology at Avila University in 2023. She has worked in several therapeutic settings including community, schools, hospital, and private practice for the past 5 years. Teresa owns a private practice called Thuy Therapy where she focuses on understanding and healing generational trauma and attachment wounds and providing support for neurodivergence. In her spare time, she enjoys watching anime and Korean dramas, crocheting, and finding new restaurants to eat as she is a huge foodie.
