Women in NAAAP-KC book club: Leveraging Stereotypes
At a tumultuous time, an industry insider finds a unique way to inspire and empower by utilizing her voice and platform to highlight the importance of diversity and inclusivity and contributions of women in a highly male-dominated industry.
Join us on April 6th 2022 to hear from Dianne Lee, a 16+ year construction industry veteran on the challenges she has had to face and overcome as an immigrant in America.
In a raw and honest collection of real-life experiences, Dianne Lee shows us we shouldn't be limited by the color of our skin; in fact, we should capitalize on every opportunity to design a life that is limitless. She will share how she has leveraged every adversity to create successful outcomes and how she is paying it forward in our industry.
She currently serves on 4 prestigious construction industry boards, she is the immediate past president of the Asian American Architects and Engineers Association (AAa/e), is currently serving a three-year term as Board of Director and Program Chair for the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Los Angeles Chapter and is on the Board of the Construction Management Association of America Southern California chapter and the executive board of the Western Winter Workshop conference. She is also a national speaker for SMPS HQ, Engineering News-Record (ENR) Podcast and the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and is frequently asked to share her expertise in business development and client management.
